Eager reader of history, mystery, classics, biographies, steampunk, lit fic, science, scifi, and etc. My reviews are mostly positive--I rarely finish or write about books I don't enjoy. My TBR is too high for that.

Bloodfever (Fever Series, Book 2)

Bloodfever - Karen Marie Moning The action is ramped up in this second book of the Fever Series and Mac is figuring things out on the fly by keeping her eyes open and chronicling everything she learns in a journal. Mac still acts like an innocent, helpless and flirty, to manipulate those around her, but it’s a strategy now and not who she really is any more. I like that she can’t be sure who to trust so she isn’t completely allied with any of the players in the book, not the supposedly good fae prince, not the fellow sidhe-seers she finally meets, and certainly not the intense and enigmatic Barrons, the man (or something like a man) who keeps saving her life but who definitely has his own agenda.
