Eager reader of history, mystery, classics, biographies, steampunk, lit fic, science, scifi, and etc. My reviews are mostly positive--I rarely finish or write about books I don't enjoy. My TBR is too high for that.
This novel weaves together the stories of a woman on death row, the doctor treating her for AIDS and the wife of one of the men she killed, and the concept intrigued me. Not a perfect book--in spite or maybe because of my lack of experience the death row character seemed the most real to me--but on the other hand it was gripping enough that I read it almost straight through.
