Eager reader of history, mystery, classics, biographies, steampunk, lit fic, science, scifi, and etc. My reviews are mostly positive--I rarely finish or write about books I don't enjoy. My TBR is too high for that.
This is advertised as a cross between Harry Potter and Jane Austen, which isn't a bad description. I fell in love with it when I first read it over the Christmas-New Year's break in 2004 and I wanted to recreate that all consuming experience again this year. If anything the book was better the second time around. WARNING: This is a big book and your wrist will be sore.
