A Brief History of Book Vending Machines
From John Geoghegan at the Huffington Post, an article about the history and present use of vending machines for books--a concept I love and apparently Germany, Japan, and China are among the countries where book vending machines are currently in use. But I usually like to read the first few pages of any book I'm considering and I don't read a lot of best sellers so I don't think I'd be their most avid customer. Still, I'd love to run into one of these on my rambles:
