Gillian Flynn, the author of Gone Girl, to moderize Hamlet

Hamlet - William Shakespeare Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn

This should be interesting.

Besides having Gillian Flynn re-imagine Shakespeare's "Hamlet":

Hogarth, an imprint of Penguin Random House, has already signed up Margaret Atwood (“The Tempest”), Tracy Chevalier (“Othello”), Howard Jacobson (“The Merchant of Venice”), Jo Nesbo (“Macbeth”), Anne Tyler (“The Taming of the Shrew”) and Jeanette Winterson (“The Winter’s Tale”). Publication of the series will coincide with the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death in 2016.
